1.  CRITICALITY SAFETY ENGINEER

Duties :

Provide technical assistance in developing criticality safety documents and analyses, criticality safety controls, and related technical support documentation. Ensure that the development of applicable criticality safety documentation complies with requirements and as necessary, applicable controls are implemented in field procedures. Demonstrate personal accountability for project schedules, deadlines, budgets, and the safe performance of work.

Required Qualifications:

Education :

Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Engineering, Math, or Science. Alternate combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Experience/Skills :

Candidate must demonstrate a minimum of five (5) years experience in the nuclear safety industry through support to the Department of Energy (DOE) or the commercial nuclear industry. Previous experience with implementation of 10 CFR 830, DOE O 420.1B, and related standards and guides is required.

 

2. NUCLEAR SAFETY ENGINEER

Ensure that the developed nuclear safety documentation complies with requirements and as necessary, applicable controls are implemented in field procedures. Demonstrate personal accountability for project schedules, deadlines, budgets, and the safe performance of work.

3. ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS ENGINEER

Duties :

Provide engineering support and design and construction oversight for electrical and electronic systems. For assigned systems, identifies system concepts and determines system functional and technical requirements; monitors system performance, trouble shoots and resolves problems, and ensures operation within technical and safety basis requirements. As Electrical Design Engineer, provides engineering analysis, design development and generation of design output documents including but not limited to: Single Line Drawings, Short Circuit Analysis, Coordination Curves, Voltage Drop calculations, Arc Flash hazard analyses, Control Circuit Design, Circuit/Raceway/Wiring/Connection Design, Grounding, Heat Tracing, Electrical Equipment Lists.

Required Qualifications:

Education :

BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or current registration as a Professional Engineer in Electrical Engineering.

Experience/Skills :

Candidate must demonstrate five years Electrical Engineering experience in the power, manufacturing, process chemical or equivalent industry. Candidate must demonstrate knowledge of NEC code requirements. Candidate must have the ability to walkdown systems in the field. Experience with systems in environmental remediation systems is preferred. Candidate demonstrating experience in 2D Microstation Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) is preferred.

4.  MECHANICAL/PROCESS ENGINEER

Duties :

Engineering support services include conceptual design development, input, and final design review for environmental remediation, deactivation and decommissioning projects. The engineering analyses, design development and generation of design output documents include, but are not limited to flow calculations, piping and instrumentation diagrams, piping & equipment support mass transfer, equipment & material specifications, & related construction specifications. Flow calculation may include pressure safety calculations to demonstrate compliance with the ASME boiler and pressure vessel code.

Required Qualifications:

Education :

BS Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering,

Experience/Skills :

Candidate must demonstrate five years engineering experience in the nuclear or process chemical industry. Candidate must be familiar with ASME piping codes. Experience with systems in environmental remediation systems is preferred. Candidate demonstrating experience in 2D Microstation Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) is required. Candidate must have the ability to walk down systems.

5. WORK CONTROL PLANNERS

Duties :

Prepare, review and issue corrective maintenance work packages. Provide work control package technical review. Develop and issue preventive maintenance records and work packages.

Experience :

Experience in work control planning development, review, and issuance of work control packages at DOE sites.
